RACK-MOUNT DIGITAL WIRELESS

By

System 10 Pro is the latest addition to Audio-Technica’s System 10 wireless systems and like its brethren, operates in the 2.4GHz range, keeping it free not only from TV interference but also from an uncertain regulatory future.

System 10 Pro has a durable rack-mount chassis which houses one or two receiver units that can be operated locally within the chassis, or be removed and mounted up to 120m away via Ethernet cable. This approach increases the versatility of the system by adding the benefits of an antenna distribution system without the corresponding costs.

Up to five System 10 Pro chassis (10 receivers) can be linked together using the included RJ12 cable to create a stable multichannel system for the simultaneous use of 10 channels. The chassis’ LCD dual system display shows RF signal level, system ID, transmitter battery level, and system link status for both channels.

Like all the products in the System 10 range, the Pro rack-mount features 24-bit/48kHz wireless operation, easy setup, clear, natural sound quality, and three levels of signal diversity assurance: frequency, time and space. Frequency Diversity transmits the signal on two dynamically allocated frequencies, Time Diversity sends the signal in multiple time slots to maximise immunity to multipath interference, and Space Diversity uses two antennas on each transmitter and receiver to maximise signal integrity.

System 10 Pro comes equipped with a dual receiver chassis, one or two transmitters, an RJ12 link cable, rack-mount brackets, joining plates and plug pack. Eight standard configurations are available with one or two channels of handheld, belt-pack, lapel, or a combination. Prices range from AU $649 to $1199.
