DesignMax

Bose Professional is introducing DesignMax loudspeakers, a wide range of loudspeakers which offer the flexibility and style to deliver outstanding audio and aesthetics for any commercial space. The DesignMax lineup features 10 loudspeakers and two subwoofers, including ceiling-mounted, surface-mounted, and outdoor-rated options.

DesignMax loudspeakers range from two-inch low-profile models to eight-inch high-SPL compression-driver loudspeakers. All models deliver instantly-impressive sound, with no EQ or DSP required. Enabling Bose EQ voicings on select Bose digital sound processors and smart amplifiers provides even better sound. SmartBass processing can also be enabled to deliver enhanced sound at any listening level. On select models, the Dispersion Alignment system provides wide and consistent off-axis response.

For installers, unique QuickHold mounting mechanisms on each DesignMax loudspeaker make the installation job easier, reduce strain, hassle and save substantial time in the field. Installers can adjust the pitch and lock the QuickHold levers to set the loudspeaker in place, without using tools, in seconds. For ceiling-mounted models, installers can simply push the loudspeaker into the ceiling opening. QuickHold mounting arms spring into place, holding the loudspeaker as the installer finishes the job.

PowerSpace

Bose Professional also introduces PowerSpace amplifiers, a new line of five cost-effective power amplifiers offering the right power levels and DSP options for premium commercial applications.

PowerSpace amplifiers integrate seamlessly with the expanding line of Bose Professional loudspeakers, processors and control devices. The line includes three models with Bose AmpLink connectivity and two models featuring an integrated DSP.

Ideal for zone-expansion applications, the P21000A, P2600A, and P4300A models (2 x 1000W, 2 x 604W, and 2 x 300W respectively) enhance any commercial installation with clean, reliable power and digital connectivity. A Bose AmpLink input allows for multiple channels of uncompressed, low-latency digital audio from Bose digital sound processors via a single Cat 5 cable. Versatile outputs give you the flexibility to deliver full channel power to either low- or high-impedance loads — without bridging — and even send double power to a single zone. For premium commercial applications, Bose PowerSpace amplifiers provide the power, performance and flexibility to get the job done.

Additionally, the P4300+ and P4150+ models (4 x 300 and 4 x 150 watts) combine power and built-in DSP into a space-saving 1RU design for quick-turn installations. An onboard configuration utility and intuitive browser-based user interface present common tasks in a logical manner, allowing for faster system configuration, thereby reducing installation time while increasing setup accuracy. Once installed, proprietary Bose algorithms offer predictable performance, while optional interfaces — such as ControlCenter analog zone controllers — make operation easy for end users. For premium commercial applications, Bose PowerSpace+ models provide amplification and DSP in one integrated, easy-to-configure package.

ArenaMatch

Bose Professional is introducing ArenaMatch DeltaQ array loudspeakers and ArenaMatch Utility loudspeakers for outdoor installations.

ArenaMatch arrays incorporate DeltaQ technology, to bring improved sound quality, consistency, vocal clarity and flexibility to outdoor installations — sports stadiums, arenas, outdoor entertainment centres, and more. Featuring an IP55 weather rating, ArenaMatch DeltaQ modules make it easy to create durable and reliable outdoor loudspeaker arrays that bring consistent, intelligible sound to listeners.

DeltaQ array technology allows directivity, or ‘Q,’ to vary in each module to more precisely match coverage to audience area. With nine coverage patterns available, designers can choose from modules with 10-, 20- or 40-degree vertical coverage and easily swap between 60-, 80- or 100-degree horizontal waveguides — even in already-assembled arrays — to adjust horizontal coverage and create asymmetrical patterns where needed. By reducing the number of modules required, ArenaMatch loudspeakers can help improve sight lines, reduce array weight, and lower overall system costs compared to some conventional arrays. Most importantly, the coverage flexibility of ArenaMatch loudspeakers means more sound going where it is needed.

ArenaMatch offers a turnkey solution for entire outdoor sound systems. Designers can employ 40-degree ArenaMatch array modules for point-source applications and 10-, 20- and 40-degree modules for line arrays — all with the same transducers for consistent tonal balance. Combining ArenaMatch loudspeakers with ArenaMatch Utility loudspeakers, which blend seamlessly to deliver complementary and consistent zone-fill coverage, makes equalising the system much easier. ArenaMatch loudspeakers also interface perfectly with Bose PowerMatch amplifiers, ControlSpace DSPs and ControlSpace Designer software (as well as Dante connectivity), which simplifies setup and monitoring, saving users time with loudspeaker presets for EQ, limiter and crossover settings.

For outdoor sports complexes, ArenaMatch loudspeakers provide clean audio for the entire spectator area – delivering announcements and play-by-play calls clearly. 14-inch neodymium woofer and six Bose EMB2S titanium-diaphragm neodymium compression drivers in each module deliver superior intelligibility. And when it comes to music, ArenaMatch loudspeakers deliver crystal-clear long-throw music reproduction. Weather-resistant features include a three-layer stainless steel grille, water-resistant woofer cone coating, industrial polyurethane exterior coating and a molded input cover.
