By

28 February 2020

With the rapidly growing demand for professional, real-time, reliable future-proofed audio network systems, Neutrik is taking the next logical step in the development of Milan audio modules, by offering OEM customers a time and cost-saving path towards developing and producing future audio network solutions built on the Milan protocol.

“The Milan audio modules from Neutrik will allow manufacturers in the pro audio market to quickly and easily build a wide range of Milan audio products, from single loudspeakers and microphones, to complex multichannel mixing desks and multi-port conferencing systems. Neutrik is making it easier for professional audio networking manufacturers to add Milan to product lines, which will in turn expand the Milan-certified ecosystem of devices,“ said Richard Bugg, Avnu Alliance Pro AV Segment Chair.

Neutrik intends for its Milan modules to be tested and certified by the Avnu Alliance in the coming months.

Having introduced its first XLR audio connector in 1975, 2020 marks the 45th anniversary of Neutrik’s success story. Neutrik’s history of introducing innovative solutions that set standards in audio connectivity has grown to encompass some of the industry’s most advanced technologies such as opticalCON fibre optic products and XIRIUM wireless digital audio solutions. Neutrik responds to the exacting requirements of professional users with solutions that offer ultimate performance and unmatched reliability.

At ISE, the company showcased its latest advanced connectivity solutions including the opticalCON DRAGONFLY Fiber Optic Camera Connector Series, the 2-in, 2-out NA2-IO-DLINE and NA2-IO-DPRO intelligent Dante interface modules, the mediaCON series of robust, lockable USB Type-C cables and panel sockets – designed for data rates up to 10 GB/s (USB 3.1), 100 W power and 10,000 mating cycles – and the TOP product range which meets the growing demand for environmentally sealed connectors for use in heavy-duty and harsh environment applications with entertainment equipment including PA systems, lighting, signage and LED screens.
