Two new laser projectors complete Epson’s premium EH-LS Series

Epson has launched two new AI-powered 4K home theatre laser projectors in Australia. The EH-LS6000 and EH-LS7500 complete Epson’s premium EH-LS Series and bring cinematic-scale entertainment to spaces ranging from compact homes to dedicated theatre rooms.

Cinematic entertainment on a bigger scale

Streaming, gaming and modern cinema now deliver content at a quality and scale that conventional living-room televisions cannot fully reproduce. Epson’s new projectors close that gap with images measured in metres rather than inches. Both models combine Epson’s 3LCD three-chip engine with 4K enhancement technology, producing 8.3 million pixels on screen, and a solid-state laser light source rated for up to 20,000 hours of operation with no lamp to replace.

AI-enhanced picture quality

Advanced AI image processing optimises each frame in real time. AI super resolution sharpens fine detail, while the perceptual quantiser balances brightness and contrast for natural, lifelike tones. HDR10 processing, 10-bit colour, scene-adaptive gamma correction, de-contour processing and 4K frame interpolation work together to deliver smooth motion, rich colour and clear, seamless images.

EH-LS6000: The ultimate giant-screen experience

Designed for buyers seeking the largest possible picture, the EH-LS6000 delivers up to 3,400 lumens of colour and white brightness and an image scalable up to 500 inches, transforming almost any wall into a cinema screen. Its 3LCD architecture continuously displays 100 percent of the RGB colour signal, producing up to three times brighter colour than leading competitive single-chip DLP projectors. A contrast ratio exceeding 3,000,000:1 delivers well-defined shadows and deep blacks. Practical features include quiet operation at just 22 decibels in quiet mode, a sealed optical unit, lens shift of up to 21 percent horizontally and 59 percent vertically, and ten lens-memory presets for different aspect ratios. Compatibility with the existing EH-TW7100 ceiling mount also simplifies upgrades and helps avoid unnecessary installation costs.

EH-LS7500: Big-screen immersion in compact spaces

With a shorter throw ratio than its predecessor, the EH-LS7500 delivers a big-screen, immersive display with an image scalable from 40 inches up to 300 inches, even in compact spaces, making it the perfect choice for small homes, garages and golf simulator setups. The EH-LS7500 delivers up to 3,500 lumens of colour and white brightness, a contrast ratio exceeding 5,000,000:1 and four colour modes. The AIPQ Scene 2.0+ engine combines AI super resolution with an AI perceptual quantiser to produce crisp detail and balanced, natural tones.

High-refresh gaming and versatile audio

A refresh rate of 400 to 480Hz, Auto Low Latency Mode, Game Mode and sub-20 ms input lag provide responsive performance for gaming. eARC supports high-quality audio over a single HDMI cable, while Bluetooth® 6.0 offers convenient connectivity for headphones and soundbars.

Installation designed for real homes

Front access to the lens-shift dials allows adjustment without moving the EH-LS7500, with no visible shift dials once ceiling mounted. A front exhaust also enables shelf placement at the back of a room. Both models support point correction, quick corner adjustment and the existing EH-TW7100 ceiling mount.

Long-life laser performance

The laser optical engine changes the ownership experience. There is no lamp to replace, no warm-up wait and almost no cool-down period. Maximum brightness is reached in about eight seconds, power consumption is lower than lamp-based equivalents, and brightness is continuously monitored to maintain optimum performance.

For households considering an ultra-large television, the EH-LS6000 and EH-LS7500 offer a different category of experience. They produce images up to 500 inches and 300 inches respectively, while providing flexible placement and a scalable screen for films, sport, documentaries and gaming. Laser light sources last up to 20,000 hours, the optics are sealed, mounts can be reused across generations and apps can stream directly through the projector. This helps keep long-term running and maintenance requirements modest.

Completing the EH-LS Series

With the arrival of the EH-LS6000 and EH-LS7500, Epson’s EH-LS Series now covers the breadth of Australian home cinema demand, from compact living spaces to dedicated theatre rooms. Epson holds the number one position in the global projector market, with 3LCD technology underpinning every projector it makes.

Both models include Epson’s three-year projector warranty, with an optional two-year extended warranty, and are available now in Australia at RRPs of $5,499.00 $5,899.00 respectively.
