EAW to Launch an Array of New Products at InfoComm 2019

By

6 June 2019

At this year’s InfoComm, Eastern Acoustics Works (EAW) will show several new members of its successful and fast-growing 800 Series of loudspeaker and low frequency enclosures. They will also unveil two new series of point-source loudspeakers, new active portable models and much more. Come to InfoComm booth 6989 and Demo Room W224G to see these and other new products and discuss EAW’s vision of the future of professional sound systems.

Earlier this year, EAW introduced the KF810P installation line array, the latest model in the company’s legendary KF800 series. Designed specifically for installed applications, the compact, lightweight KF810P is a three-way system with best-in-class output and true broadband pattern control. At InfoComm, EAW will launch the new SB818P|F companion subwoofer for the KF810P. The SB818P|F is direct radiating, with an optimally tuned, vented enclosure that houses an 18-inch neodymium transducer with long-excursion 5.3-inch voice coil and tremendous motor strength, enabling reduced system weight and increased output response at all output levels. Its compact, flyable design is ideal for installs or other applications with minimal floor space. EAW has further extended the SB series with the new SB818F, SB828, and SB825 loudspeakers.

Also new at InfoComm are EAW’s new RS Series 2-way self-powered loudspeakers and subwoofers. RS Series loudspeakers, including the RM 121/123 and the RS 151/153, deliver EAW signature performance in a portable, lightweight wooden enclosure housing bi-amplified electronics and designed around the company’s latest generation of touring-grade transducers. A rotatable, constant-directivity HF horn, inspired by the company’s classic MK series, offers precise pattern control. The RS Series’ DSP provides intelligent Focusing for musical clarity and accuracy and DynO dynamic optimization.

The companion RS115 and RS118HP self-powered subwoofers offer 1,500 and 2,500 watts of Class D power, respectively, and feature tuned, vented enclosures. EAW’s DynO algorithms optimise the power transfer from amplifiers to transducers for improved headroom and sound integrity at maximum output.

In addition, EAW will introduce the new MKD family of point-source loudspeakers with dual low-frequency drivers and a sleeker-looking Stealth version of EAWs flagship Adaptive Series.
