APT AV Videobar Heeds Feedback
Firmware update improves meeting room experiences.

Responding to market demand, APT AV has given its VB460 videobar important new functionality via a firmware update. The update allows the audio output jack to pass audio without muting the videobar’s loudspeakers. This enhancement helps meeting room AV designers adhere to the relevant Australian standard that states: “Where a sound amplification system is provided, a listening system to aid hearing-impaired people shall be installed or made available.”
The 3.5mm audio output jack now allows the APT AV VB460 to pass audio directly to an assistive listening system.
