Job Opportunity: Audio Visual Production Team Member

Fordtronic AV Pty Ltd are leaders in audio visual equipment hire for the conference and seminar industry in Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Audio Visual Production team member to join our dynamic and friendly team in a full-time employment position. Working alongside our Hire Manager, the successful candidate will assist in setting up, operating and packing down equipment at events.

The role involves:

• Preparing audio visual equipment for conferences/events
• Delivery and setting up at conferences/events
• Packing down audio visual equipment

To be successful in this role, the candidate must:

• have a current NSW Drivers licence
• sound knowledge and practical experience of audio visual equipment, including computers and associated equipment
• be punctual, accountable and reliable
• demonstrate initiative and excellent time management skills
• be friendly, approachable and be able to liaise with business clients in a professional manner
• tackle a variety of duties with a can do attitude
• take pride in their work
• have excellent organisational skills
• be a team player

As we work in the conference and entertainment industry, the successful candidate would need to be flexible with their availability and be willing to work at times outside of standard business hours.

As the first point of contact with our clients, the successful candidate must have excellent communication, people skills and personal presentation is essential.

It is preferred that the successful candidate have 2 years previous audio visual experience, however, it is more important that we find the right person for the position and will commence training with the successful candidate.
