InSight Systems – AV Service Technician

We are looking for experienced AV Service Technicians to join our on-site teams. Reporting to the on-site Operational Manager, this is a hands-on service position dealing with a variety of AV technologies and based onsite at an educational institution or hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Attending to faults as per client’s needs — ensuring support, maintenance and troubleshooting of their AV systems
• Provide professional support and proactive communication to clients — including up to date reports on any open service ticket
• Update internal registers and procedures to reflect the current status of rooms — includes maintenance reports
• Conduct Audits as required including compiling the report
• Provide Events support as required
• Ensure tickets are closed once satisfactorily completed

Skills and Experience

• Relevant experience in an AV incident response role 
• Experience with AMX and Crestron control systems
• Experience in DSP programming is desirable 
• Networking experience/certifications highly desirable
• Customer service experience 
• Working with Children Check
• Problem solver, will own issues until full resolution
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with great attention to detail
• Strong organisational, time management & prioritisation skills
• Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal staff and customers
• Exceed customer expectations — ability to create wow and delight moments with customers
