The Lightmoves Group of companies all operate within the architectural and entertainment fields. This includes Lightmoves Pty Ltd who specialise in sales and system solutions, Resolution X; a lighting hire and production company, providing products and solutions for shows, events, exhibitions, openings, and conferences and Browns Precision Welding, a specialist metal fabricator. This role is supporting the sales activities across the group.
We are looking for someone with broad industry experience in the management, design and quotation of entertainment and architectural feature lighting, as well as solutions to venues such as schools, museums, galleries, theatres, houses of worship, hotels, corporate and architectural projects. This role is about working with engineers, architects, specifiers, designers, wholesalers, electricians, venues and end users to develop and supply creative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Create demand for and represent the Lightmoves Group range of products and services into target markets.
- Professionally respond to invitation to tender requests.
- Recommend, design and quote lighting and control systems solutions.
- Manage inbound product, service and technical enquiries.
- Review plans and schematics to develop specifications and designs to prepare cost estimates and quotes.
- Work with client requirements and budgets to provide innovative appropriate solutions from the Lightmoves product offering.
- Develop solutions and concept designs
- Work with Lightmoves Project Delivery, Commissioning and Customer support teams in the project management, delivery and long-term customer support of your projects.
- Visit and build relationships with schools, venues, architects, designers, consultants and engineers.
- Identify and drive opportunities to develop new prospects and convert them to customers.
- Work in conjunction with other team members to find and create synergies on common projects
- Meet or exceed annual sales budgets and profitability targets.
You will have the following skills and attributesÂ
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience, preferably including experience in or with performing arts venues, production companies and/or installation contractors.
- A passion for and comprehensive understanding of the operational requirements of architectural and entertainment lighting systems and their associated control solutions.
- Experience of digital lighting control data solutions including DALI, DMX512A, RDM and associated Ethernet Protocols.
- An ability to work effectively as part of a team and to demonstrate leadership.
