GIGPIGLET TO REPRESENT JOECO

The UK’s JoeCo has announced the appointment of Sydney based music production company Gigpiglet Productions as the Australian representative for its BlackBox range of multi-channel audio recorders and players.

“Gigpiglet has been using JoeCo products since their inception, with countless live recordings and broadcasts,” said Gigpiglet director Gareth Stuckey. “Their ease of use and input flexibility has been integral in producing shows such as Nova’s red room, as well as corporate installations in boardrooms, courtrooms and more.”

In the company announcement JoeCo managing director Joe Bull said, “We are delighted to welcome Gigpiglet Productions as our new representative in Australia. We’ve known Gareth for many years and his in-depth knowledge of our products allows him and his team to hit the ground running. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration in this growing marketplace.”

Established in 2007, JoeCo’s research and development activity has focussed on its BlackBox Recorder line, designed for capturing live multi-channel audio. The company has won several prestigious awards including a PLASA Award for Innovation. Distributed in more than 30 countries, the brand’s growing customer base includes touring bands, outside broadcast facilities, theatres and worship venues, broadcasters, film and TV sound recordists and post-production facilities.

Stuckey says all JoeCo models will be available from Gigpiglet for sale, hire, or demo.
