AMX has appointed Jamie Miller to its newly created Customer Service Manager role in Australia and New Zealand. Miller will head up the company’s Technical Services function, managing hardware repairs, the software support team and field service engineers.

The appointment reflects AMX’s drive to integrate the AV industry into the IT world. Miller brings 15 years’ experience in the ICT industry, where he has been responsible for the design and delivery of customer service culture along with processes and policies for organisations throughout Australia and Southeast Asia.

“AMX and the AV industry as a whole are certainly heading toward some very interesting changes in their operating models and alignment to ICT business,” Miller says. “I am pleased to bring my experience and background to help develop AMX customer service to become an industry leader and apply what has been learned in other technology industries.”

AMX Operations Manager Scott Pyke says changes with the appointment will be tangible: “Jamie has extensive customer service experience as both the key person responsible for delivering customer service excellence within the government and private sectors, and as a consultant on best practice delivery for customer service within industry,” he says.

Miller will be based at AMX’s HQ in Southport, Queensland, and can be contacted at jamie.miller@amxaustralia.com.au
