Sennheiser has unveiled an upgrade to its versatile ceiling microphone for everyday collaboration spaces that need flexibility and scalability, the TeamConnect Ceiling M Plus, now available to order with shipping from the end of June 2026.

First In the Market Features

Designed for spaces where systems need to work instantly, scale easily, all with minimal integration effort. The TeamConnect Ceiling M Plus is the easiest ceiling microphone to set up and use for medium and large collaboration spaces. Providing direct integration into partner ecosystems, the new PartnerLink feature supports simplified configuration within the Q-SYS Designer platform. There is no need for separate plugins, Dante configuration or other tools. In addition, DeviceHub provides centralised cloud-based monitoring and management of compatible devices across multiple rooms and locations. For direct local setup and configuration, TCC M Plus includes a Local Web UI (LUI), enabling simple browser-based access to device configuration and settings without requiring additional software or tools.

Additional Features

The dynamic beam former has been optimised to deliver clear and consistent speech intelligibility without the need for manual tuning, even in flexible room setups. Exclusion zones have also been enhanced to further ignore unwanted sounds from a defined area. To support sustainability, a new configurable standby mode has been introduced to reduce energy consumption when idle for predictable power management. Finally, Dante encryption provides enhanced security protocols to further secure network integration.
