Fast Innovation by Pleneo
Pleneo recognized as a World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company
Pleneo has been recognized as one of the World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2026 by Fast Company, taking a top position in the Workplace category. Being included reflects the ongoing shift towards experience-led workplaces, within which Pleneo plays a significant role by continually helping to shape how people interact with technology at work.
Fast Company’s annual list highlights organizations who redefine their industries through design, technology and real-world impact. Pleneo is recognized alongside leading technology companies including Google and NVIDIA and major media brands like Nintendo and IMAX.
With this year’s list, Fast Company highlighted that the workplace sector is being shaped by increasing complexity, rapid change and evolving expectations from employees. It noted that the most meaningful innovations are those that help people work more effectively, with less friction.
Pleneo’s offering reflects that shift as a company that focuses on usability, adaptability and creating the best possible experience for people in shared spaces. The recognition by Fast Company is a reflection of Pleneo’s different approach to workplace technology. One that’s grounded in design that’s built around the needs of the people using it.
James Knight, CEO, Pleneo says, “The challenge for designing technology for workspaces has never been about simply adding more of the latest solutions, it’s about making technology disappear. Our inclusion in the Most Innovative Companies reflects our deep understanding of how people use shared spaces and creating solutions that adapt to them, rather than forcing them to adapt to the technology. Everything we design is centered around usability and experience.”
Pleneo approaches workplace technology as a complete system designed to be intuitive, consistent, and easy to deploy. The result is a fundamentally different experience with spaces that work immediately, scale easily and require little to no training so people can just get on with their roles with no friction with the systems they’re using.
Brendan Vaughan, editor-in-chief of Fast Company comments, “The companies we recognize are those turning bold ideas into real-world impact. What stands out from the thousands of companies we evaluated in 2026 is how innovation is increasingly about the enduring power of human creativity. At the same time, we’re seeing a growing tension between innovation that creates new value and innovation that simply extracts it, a balance that will define the next era of business.”
