AV Venues Sales

We’re seeking an AV Venue Sales professional to manage enquiries, scope solutions, and ensure seamless handover to operations. You’ll be the first contact for clients—driving timely communication, accurate quoting, and pipeline momentum—so every event is set up for success.
Responsibilities
- Own the venue sales pipeline from enquiry to handover and invoicing readiness
- Enter and maintain accurate pipeline details
- Follow up on all pipeline and sales opportunities within 2 business days
- Prepare and deliver quotes within 2 business days of the brief/site visit, or by an agreed client deadline.
- Maintain the financial details of your jobs, updating promptly and accurately
- Ensure jobs are ready for invoicing at least 4 business days prior to delivery
- Develop and Upload a complete event brief/scope to our staff portal at least 2 days prior to prep so that we set the crew up for success.
- Collaborate closely with the Venue Operations Manager to ensure seamless delivery and great client outcomes
- Track/report conversion rates, forecast accuracy, margins, and pipeline velocity
Skills & Attributes
- Strong communication and client relationship management—proactive, clear, and professional
- Excellent organization and time management with a bias for follow through‑ and accuracy
- Calm under pressure, able to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
- Commercial acumen (pricing, margin awareness, confident scope discussions/upsell options)
- Proficient with CRMs; experience with Rentalpoint and CAD/Vectorworks is highly regarded
- Working knowledge of AV event fundamentals to scope feasible solutions with operations
Qualifications & Experience (Preferred)
- 3–5+ years in AV/events sales or venue sales, with quoting and pipeline ownership
- Demonstrated success converting enquiries into high quality‑, profitable events
- Familiarity with the corporate events landscape is essential
- Flexibility for client meetings/site visits and occasional after‑hours requirements
