We’re looking for an experienced AV Technician who’s ready to take the lead on-site.
This is a full-time role based in Brisbane, with some travel across Queensland and interstate. You’ll join a high-performing team installing world-class AV solutions for schools, government, corporate and community spaces. If you’re reliable, know your way around cabling and gear, and take pride in doing things properly, we’d like to hear from you.
About the Role
You’ll be leading AV installations across a variety of projects – from schools and council buildings to meeting rooms, stadiums, and public spaces. That includes installing screens, speakers, cabling, and control systems – safely, on time, and to a high standard.
As the main tech on-site, you’ll work closely with Project Managers and Engineers to keep the job running smoothly. You’ll also provide support and guidance to junior techs when needed.
This role suits someone who’s confident on the tools, takes responsibility for their work, and gets things done without fuss.
What You’ll Do
- Lead AV installs across a range of projects
- Install AV systems and infrastructure to specification
- Read and follow site plans and drawings
- Maintain a clean, safe and compliant worksite
- Support trainee team members on-site
- Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, and other trades
- Take ownership of your work and the job site
Who the Role Is For
- You’ve got solid experience with AV installations
- You’re confident working from plans and can solve problems as they come up
- You take pride in neat, professional work
- You’re organised, reliable, and can lead a team on-site
- You’ve got a White Card and manual driver’s licence
- EWP, AVIXA or Crestron experience is a bonus
